How Does OctaPass Work?
Q&A with Founder, Kevin Libman
- What inspired you to start ?
I was working as a medical transcriptionist and saw firsthand how much wasted medical supplies there are in hospitals. I knew there had to be a better way to recycle these materials and help those in need.
- What are some of the challenges you’ve faced with ?
One of the biggest challenges has been getting hospitals on board. They’re very hesitant to change their donation process, but we’re slowly making progress.
- What are your future goals ?
Our goal is to eventually have a presence in all 50 states and be the go-to resource for medical donations. We want to make it easy for hospitals and other organizations to donate surplus medical supplies and help those who need it the most.
